What we know.
- Hydrolyzed proteins are broken into smaller fragments. Veterinary diet studies have tested complete diets containing these ingredients.
- A 2023 controlled trial studied hydrolyzed fish diets in dogs with chronic enteropathy.
What we don’t.
- A whole-diet result cannot establish that an isolated peptide caused the result.
- Diet research does not validate an experimental injectable peptide or a future MyDoggy formulation.
